Year 1, Term 3, Week 2: Keble Ball!
So, this week started off with the boring but usual: practicals started again, got a fair bit through the TT one in the first session, which I was pleased about. We had our room ballot this week, and I’m in room 3510 for 2nd year – that’s an en suite room overlooking the main quad in Keble, I’ll have you know.
I also had a meet up with the people from the maths bridging course way back before MT started, which was a really good evening out – catching up with everyone was really nice, and it brings back memories of staying in Worcester College, and orange juice / Mario Party galore…
The end of this week was far more exciting… it was the Keble Ball! It was (loosely) Neverland themed, so we had things like a pirate’s casino, Lost Boy’s den (sweets, etc), a hog roast, a huge chocolate fountain, and much much more. Charlotte had a big ball dress, and she looked amazing in it… lots of the girls at the ball said so! (I think they were just a tiny bit jealous.) It was extremely fun, pictures will appear here shortly, and it seemed that everyone really enjoyed themselves. I’ll definitely go next year, and I’m already all booked in to go to Mansfield’s ball in November, apparently the only ball not in the summer term.
