Year 1, Term 2, Week 7: now at single digits of yet-to-be-completed problem sheets!

This week started out with me buying a fair lot of chocolate-y stuff from Sainsbury’s – more so, most likely, than I’ll be able to consume if I want to remain healthy!

This week I managed to get both of my practicals finished – yes, that’s right, no annoyingly rushed Week 8 practicals to try and debug and finish off!  So pleased.  As far as I know there’s only an Imperative Programming practical next term, which I feel much more comfortable with.  Also, shock of all horrors, I was able to do most of the analysis sheet this week!  I know!

Went out to Zizzi with Charlotte during the week, a nice Italian restaurant on George Street.  Had really nice food, the waitress was exceedingly nice (but not in a bad way), and I’d thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting to go out and eat somewhere.  Well, it beats pizza hut anyway.  (Or does it…?)

Also have been getting to bed earlier this week, which is always useful for being in a good mood.  And, even more surprising, I was able to have a lie-in on Saturday morning!  Crazy!

I thought this week was turning out pretty well, and I was looking forward to next week being the last I’m in Oxford, since I get to go home and have a bit of time to properly relax before Trinity Term.  However, I then heard about this attack on soldiers in NI and was a bit disheartened.  Hum.

On a more positive note, I now only have one more problem sheet per module, and one of those sheets is almost finished. And what is possibly the best news of all: I have had no need this week to create a List of Death.  I feel happy. :)
